Description

Biostatistics for nursing and allied health professionals is explored, including descriptive statistics, basic probability concepts and distributions, classic estimation and hypothesis testing, regression and correlation, sampling and survey construction, analysis of frequency and count data, and measures of validity and reliability. Pre-requisite(s) Post-Licensure: NURS 409 and MATH 120 or equivalent. Pre-requisite(s) Pre-Licensure: MATH 120 or equivalent or higher, admission to the nursing program, or special permission to enroll through petition to the School of Nursing.
