Morphology, physiology, classification and culture techniques of prokaryotic and eukaryotic microorganisms. Credit is not allowed in both BIOL 251 and BIOL 351. Co-requisite: BIOL 251L; Pre-requisite(s): BIOL 189A, BIOL 189L and CHEM 108 or CHEM 110 OR BIOL 190A, BIOL 190L and CHEM 121A, CHEM 121L; All pre-requisites must have a grade of C- or higher.
