Explain normal functional anatomy of the brain and the physiology and anatomy of the motor and sensory systems (somatic, visual, auditory, and proprioception; discuss neuromuscular control for normal speech and swallowing; describe the brain circulatory mechanisms; apply neuroscience to human behavior with special emphasis to speech, language, hearing and cognitive skills important to speech language pathologists and audiologists. Pre-requisite: SPA 330 Pre-requisite(s): Admission to the Speech Pathology Program, or Master's Preparatory Plan in Speech Pathology or Human Health Sciences w/concentration in Speech Pathology.
