Survey course at the beginning level which discusses stellar systems and galaxies. Topics include stellar evolution, formation of galaxies, and cosmology. A minimum of mathematics is required. Recommended for non-science majors. Satisfies Natural Sciences Core Curriculum. (non-lab credit).
