Comparative study of the relations of prose, poetry, and drama to the structure and themes of the cinema, from Dickens to the present. Satisfies Humanities Core Curriculum. Pre-requisite(s): ENG 102 and at least one 200-level English course (excluding ENG 201, ENG 204, ENG 205, ENG 211, ENG 212, and ENG 230). Crosslisted with FILM 495.
