Microbial Physiology

Description

Exploration of the major aspects of microbial physiology, including structure and growth of bacteria, generation of ATP and intermediary metabolism, synthesis of macromolecules and cellular components, and coordination of intracellular, activities. Three hours lecture and three hours laboratory per week.
Pre-requisite(s): BIOL 190A/L, BIOL191A/L, BIOL 300A/L, BIOL 351A/L, CHEM 121, CHEM 122A/L, CHEM 241, CHEM 241L, and MATH 126;
$35 lab fee.
