Introduction to the neurosciences, emphasizing cellular, molecular, and physiological aspects. Establishes a foundation of cellular neurobiology and moves on to selected topics in the organization, function, and development of neural systems.
Pre-requisite(s): MATH 120 or higher and; Biology pathway Pre-requisite(s): BIOL 190A, BIOL 190L, BIOL 209, CHEM 121A, CHEM 121L, CHEM 122A, CHEM 122L; or Human Health Sciences pathway Pre-requisite(s): BIOL 189A, BIOL 189L, BIOL 223A, BIOL 223L, BIOL 224A, BIOL 224L, CHEM 108 or CHEM 110. All pre-requisites must have a grade of C- or higher.
