Supervised Field Experience

Description

Supervised internship serving as a capstone for psychology majors. Students complete 140 hours at an approved practicum site¿10 hours/week during Fall or Spring or 12 hours/week during Summer. Students must apply and secure placement at approved sites focused on behavioral analysis, school counseling, domestic violence, or community mental health settings. Students also attend class weekly to build advocacy, outreach, assessment, treatment, and case management skills. Course offered in-person only.
Pre-requisite(s): PSY 101, PSY 210, and PSY 240.
